Full Payment must be recieved for the Correspondence course

For contact course a 25% deposit is required to ensure your booking or spot in set courses.

Code of Ethics

1. Respect the rights and dignity of all clients & members.

2. Show courtesy to and respect all professional colleagues.

3. Undertake professional duties in an efficient, proper and responsible manner.

4. Not engage in any dishonesty, fraud, deceit, misrepresentation or other forms of illegal conduct that adversely reflect the fitness industry

5. Preserve and protect the integrity & confidentiality of health records in their control and the information they contain.

6. Ensure, within the scope of their responsibility, that all client identifiable information will be kept confidential. Ensure the release of information is in accordance with current laws and regulations and institutional policies. Preserve the confidential nature of professional findings and recommendations made by allied health professionals. Beyond the necessary sharing of information with professional colleagues, fitness professionals are to safeguard confidential information relating to clients in accordance with privacy laws

7. Keep records and reports clearly and concisely for the information of clients, professional colleagues, legal purposes and to record fitness services.

8. Set and accept an appropriate fee for services rendered.

9. Not assume the right to make determinations in professional areas outside the scope of their assigned responsibilities and knowledge.

10. State truthfully and accurately professional credentials, education and experience.

11. Seek to maintain and improve professional knowledge and competence by undertaking appropriate study and participating in continuing education activities.

12. Not discriminate in our professional practice, on the basis of ethnicity, culture, impairment, language, age, gender, sexual preference, religion, political beliefs or status in society.

13. Shall not enter into personal relationships which damage the establishment and maintenance of professional trust.

14. Must acknowledge the boundaries of competence. Shall only provide services for which they are qualified by training and experience.

15. Allow & encourage the right of appeal. Appeals will responded to & addressed in an efficient, proper, responsible & timely manner

Grievance & Appeals procedure

Grievances/complaints may come from several sources including, but not limited to, past or current students, employers and service providers.

Fitness Command Center recognizes that any individual or organisation may seek to lodge a formal grievance/complaint from matters relating to professional development courses developed & assessed by Fitness Command Center .
Fitness Command Center recognizes that any student may seek to appeal against any matters relating to their training and assessment including, but not limited to, the results of assessment, recognition of prior learning and/or penalty imposed due to cheating or plagiarism.
Any complaint or appeal must be lodged in writing within 7 days of the matter occurring.
The appeal or grievance will be heard by Reviewed by an independent qualified trainer & assessor (TAA04) not directly involved in the matter within 14 days of receiving the written complaint or appeal.
The outcome of the appeal or grievance, including the reasons for the decision, will be put in writing to the individual or organisation within 28 days of receiving the written complaint.

If the individual or organisation is not satisfied with the outcome, they have the option of appealing to outside agencies such as the Department of Employment and Training and/or the Office of Fair Trading.
